White Wall Of Flowers Clematis
Climbs Walls and Fences with Large Flowers
This vine does double-duty: it not only covers fences and walls for lush, beautiful screening up to 8' tall, but it also attracts butterflies and pollinators with its sizable flowers. The white flower heads (which grow up to 5" in diameter) will bloom all along the vines from spring to fall. At first, the flowers emerge pale, buttery yellow with green bars down the center of each overlapping petal—and then fade to creamy white with yellow central bars. Plant in well-drained, moisture-retentive soil in partial shade. Be sure to avoid the afternoon sun! Harsh rays can damage the color in the delicate petals. Clematis 'Guernsey Cream'
