This deciduous shrub offers vibrant flowers and lush foliage throughout the seasons. In late spring and early summer, trusses appear with up to 12 lavender flowers in each. Summer's dark green foliage turns red for fall. It prefers semi-shade, especially from the afternoon sun, and makes an excellent addition to shade and woodland gardens.
