Planting Instructions: Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots without bending them. Work soil around the roots, firm well and water thoroughly.
Soil Requirements: Moist well drained soil.
Growth Rate: Slow
Pruning: If pruning is needed in the spring, trim the leaf tips with sharp scissors, or mow back. Divide in spring as needed.
Winter Care: No winter care needed.
Additional Information: Spreads by rhizomes. Excellent as an edging plant or massed as a groundcover, especially in shady places. Tolerant of dry soils. No necessary winter preparation. Hardy to -10 degrees F. Need to control slugs and snails.
