Tardiva Hydrangea Tardiva Hydrangea

Tardiva Hydrangea

Unique Shrub Form
With a shape reminiscent of the early Hydrangea cultivars, Tardiva delivers a unique, open form with large, loose flower heads. The florets emerge a snowy white color in midsummer, changing to soft purplish pink as they age—giving the entire shrub a totally different look later in the season. This classic variety is very winter hardy and can handle urban conditions with ease, making it the ideal addition to city landscapes or garden settings. Can also be planted as a privacy screen, hedgerow or in a woodland area. Fresh or dried, the flower panicles give an exotic look to cut flower bouquet or indoor arrangements.
