Jeana Tall Phlox
A Mildew-Free Tall Phlox is Finally Easy!
Most tall phlox are highly susceptible to powdery mildew, which makes Jeana's high resistance to this fungal disease all the more exciting. It's also very cold hardy—no surprise for a native plant like Jeana! It will die back to the ground in the winter, you can prune it in early spring and it'll shoot right back up again from the base for the season. And what an extraordinary season that will be—this tall phlox blooms for months on end. We suggest cutting some blooms for a gorgeous cut-flower arrangement, you'll have plenty to work with! Hummingbirds and butterflies also love the nectar-rich blooms.
