SunFlare™ Japanese Forest Grass

Totally Bold; Tidily Compact
This cascading foliage has an exciting, intense bicolor that only gets better with age. It's very handy—it doesn't mind shade, which is rare for ornamental grass. It's fantastic in woodland gardens especially, brightening a sleepy show. Give it a good spot to stretch its legs, and it'll make a brilliant ground cover with time. It spreads slowly, though, so it's easily manageable. As this Forest Grass is such an easy perennial, it's a dependable companion to many shade favorites, like astilbe or hostas. It stays compact at about 12-18", so it's also a good one for container gardening. Deer generally don't like this grass. PP27734
