Summer Fun Gladiolus Mix

Delightful cut flowers
We put together three of our most eye-catching gladiolus—Saga in sunny orange, Petsjora in pink and purple and Wolve in brilliant crimson—to fill your summer garden with color and excitement. Each stem will produce about 10-12 blooms in a tall line, for some vertical interest to draw your eye up from a border. You can cut them for arrangements, where they'll rise up from the other cut flowers to add some height to the display. You could also plant some bulbs every 7-10 days, staggering their bloom times so you'll have a longer lasting display. Gladiolus are tender bulbs so they'll grow fast. It also means that in all but the hottest zones, you'll want to lift the bulbs in fall and store them in a shed or garage. You could also plant them in an individual or mixed container that you just roll into a garage or shed for winter protection.
