Stained Glass Hosta
Hosta of the Year Award Winner
A showy hosta for your shade garden, Stained Glass is easy to grow, delightfully fragrant, and will attract pollinators from near and far. Its gigantic leaves—9" long and 7" wide—glow a sunny yellow in the center with deep green margins and darker veins throughout. It's like a spectacle of leafy stained glass! Large, trumpet-shaped lavender blooms appear on 36" slender scapes above the leaves by late summer. They're responsible for the sweet fragrance that brings so many pollinators its way. This hosta thrives on humus-rich, well-drained sandy soil in rock and woodland gardens. Keep it in your shadiest spots to keep it happy and healthy. Named the American Hosta Grower's Association 2006 Hosta of the Year. Hosta 'Stained Glass'
