Shiryukyo Pseudata Iris

A lovely addition to your rain garden
Get the look of a butterfly-shaped Japanese iris and leave your cold damage worries behind. Shiryukyo Pseudata Iris features purple flowers with a yellow signal, draping delicately and fluttering high above the ground. Pseudata irises are ideal for wet areas and rain gardens, as they don't mind damp soil. Tall stems bear orchid-like flowers amid green, blade-shaped foliage, reaching heights of over 50 inches. Your rain garden will rejoice each spring with this beautiful iris. Pseudata irises are a cross between Ensata (Japanese) iris and Pseudacorus (Yellow Flag) iris creating a vigorous and sterile species.
