Schubertii Allium

Umbels Look Like Exploding Fireworks
One of the most unique alliums we've found, Schubertii Allium is a conversation piece in the garden and cut-flower arrangements. Growing just 12-24" tall, it has 9-12" giant spherical umbels that are loaded with small, rose-purple, starlike flowers. While the flowers open in late spring to early summer, the flower heads can be left to dry after blooming, extending the season of interest. Schubertii Allium's eye-catching looks make it an ideal plant for borders, rock gardens and containers. It's an easy-to-grow, drought-tolerant plant that grows best when planted in full sun. While deer tend to avoid it, butterflies are attracted to it. Allium 'Schubertii'
