Santorini German Iris

Ruffled Texture Causes Doubletakes
A German Iris with a flower form that complements its colors perfectly—the standards are light, thin and very ruffled, for an effect almost like a tulle skirt. The falls below are equally as ruffled, and the darker hue makes the standards pop. It's an easy-growing award winner that'll attract pollinators and praise. The ever-popular German Iris has that classic elegance that makes a spring garden so strong. An easy-to-plant fall rhizome you can leave to chill overwinter and watch in spring as it burst up with tons of extravagant blooms. Give it well-drained soil and sunshine and you'll enjoy years of low-maintenance beauty and fresh spring bouquets. They can also be divided every few years for a bigger, more impressive display. Rarely bothered by deer.
