Salsa Helenium

Keeping the Garden Bright
This beauty will blow you away with its incredibly saturated oranges, yellows and reds. In full bloom, Salsa Helenium takes over the spotlight in the landscape, so you can plant it as a pick-me-up for when things are fading in late summer to early fall. Pollinators will also be thankful for the late-season treat. Even for beginners, Salsa's not likely to cause any problems in the garden, as it's virtually disease and pest free. It's a nice way to spice up a planting of ornamental grasses. Growing about 18-20" tall, it's compact enough to fill in a patio pot nicely. Wherever you grow it, snip a few blooms for a long-lasting fresh cut bouquet. Deer tend not to bother helenium. PP25978
