Roguchi Clematis

What Could Be More Enchanting?
This clematis features large nodding bells with a sweet, slight recurve. The pretty flower form is accentuated by shading along the edges of the sepals. When summer comes, hundreds of these beautifully shaded bells cover the plant, which is a sweet effect for the border. Roguchi is a non-vining clematis, and a nice break from tradition. It mingles with your shrubs or weaves in and out of your perennial plantings. You can prop it up with our Willow Plant Support and it will also pool around the base, or you could let it form a mound against, and spill over the sides of a retaining wall. Hummingbirds will delight in all the flowers they'll get to visit—it attracts these pretty birds well. If you're new to clematis, growing Roguchi is an easy way to look impressive in your first attempt. It's such a strong home garden performer. It tolerates curious animals, black walnut juglone is no problem, and it has a good resistance to clematis wilt. Plus, it's a lovely "come again" plant—once the flowering finally wanes, cut it down and watch it grow new for a second show!
