Red Astrantia

A Low-Maintenance Naturalizer
You wouldn't think such a pretty flower could actually be a member of the carrot family, but that's Red Astrantia! The deep wine-toned blooms appear over crawling foliage, which fills out a sunny patch in a woodland garden or mixed container well. Especially good for woodlands, deer tend not to like Astrantia. It's easy-going and requires hardly any maintenance, and in return it'll bring butterflies and other beneficial pollinators into your landscape! It can bloom all the way through summer, so you'll have plenty to enjoy both outside and in cut and dried-flower arrangements.
