Las Vegas Reblooming Iris's tan standards with lighter, creamy mauve falls look elegant in the garden and fresh floral arrangements. This fragrant iris blooms in mid spring and again in the fall. Also called a German Iris, Tall Bearded Iris are easy to grow in sunny areas with well-drained soil. The showy flowers make a statement in the garden as well as fresh floral displays. Plant en masse or in mixed perennial flower beds. Drought tolerant and deer resistant, they return and multiply year after year. Clumps can be divided every three to four years.   • Foliage Type: Glaucous-green, sword-like fans of stiff upright leaves.

  • Flower Form: Flowers are fan-shaped, with three drooping petals called falls and three upright petals called standards.
  • Planting Instructions: Plant so tops of the rhizomes are exposed and the roots are spread out facing downwards in the soil.

  • Growth Rate: Fast
  • Pruning: Divide when clumps becomes crowded and bloom diminishes about every 3 to 4 years during the summer. After hard frost in the fall, cut foliage back.
