Purple Leaf Sand Cherry

Vibrant red foliage makes excellent garden contrast
Who says ornamental shrubs must be finnicky? Our Purple Leaf Sand Cherry adds vibrant color to the landscape, without adding maintenance to your chore list. Purple Leaf Sand Cherries produce fiery red foliage in early spring, along with delicate white-pink flowers. The flowers give way to small, dark-colored fruits enjoyed by birds. The foliage appears a deep reddish-purple in spring, and darkens to maroon in fall before dropping for the season. This unique coloring contrasts nicely against the greens of the garden. Purple leaf sand cherry shrubs grow up to ten feet tall, are easy to prune, and require very little maintenance.
