Purple Bird Corydalis

Often one of the First Spring Blooms!
Little space? No problem. Purple Bird Corydalis blooms in compact, 4-6" mounds. Little time? This one's very low maintenance as well. It makes a good filler for a container garden or in a rock garden. The lovely cloud of purple blooms over cool blue-green foliage looks phenomenal as a ground cover, washing over the landscape in spring. This corydalis is easy to grow—it's deer resistant and retains moisture well. It's a beautiful color in a species gaining popularity in the gardening community. Also known as Bird in the Bush and Spring Fumewort. Corydalis solida 'Purple Bird'
