Pole Evansii Pineapple Lily

Grows up to 5' Tall!
This is one of—if not the—tallest eucomis. One of our contacts showed it to us, growing in his back yard, and it came up to our shoulders! It can grow about 4-5' tall with 2' panicles. All this height makes a jaw-dropping, long-lasting accent. And for those who can't get enough of green flowers, you're going to love the long summer-to-fall show of pineapple-shaped blooms. Resistant to verticillium wilt. It's typically safest to dig eucomis up and overwinter it in a shed in cold zones, but experts are starting to suggest it's more winter hardy than people give it credit for. If you are overwintering it outdoors, we suggest protecting it in mulch.
