Pink Siam Tulip

Exotic Plant Form
The Pink Siam Tulip is an eye-catching perennial with a tropical feel. It pairs nicely with other tropical plants, like hibiscus and elephant ears. Prefers plenty of water, so it would be a nice companion planting on the same watering schedule as the elephant ear. Despite its common name, Summer Tulip, and its handsome shape reminiscent of tulip blooms, the Siam Tulip is actually a member of the ginger family. It's a rebloomer, producing soft pink flower spikes throughout summer. Useful for drawing attention in your borders. It prefers warm zones, but it's lovely in a patio pot. You can put the container wherever your landscape needs a bit of tropical flair, and easily move inside through winter in zones lower than 8. Curcuma alismatifolia
  • Zone 8-10
  • Height 18 - 24 inches
  • Bloom Time June to August
