Perle d'Azur Clematis

A Flowering Powerhouse
Globally, this is one of the best-selling clematis, because it is such a strong performer. It even received the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS. Perle d'Azur delivers masses and masses of large flowers in gorgeous tones. Mostly the 4" blooms are blue, which is a coveted color in gardens. However, it's highlighted in yellow and pink, which really adds dimension to the bloom. The foliage also arranges itself neatly on the vine, so that it won't compete with the flowers, but provide a nice backdrop to showcase them. It's easy to look like an impressive clematis gardener with this one—keep it trimmed and it'll just keep on blooming! Perle d'Azure grows to a mature height of about 10-12' long, which is fantastic for filling out a trellis, or bringing cottage garden charm to a fence.
