Daylilies spread through their clumping roots, so they'll come back thicker and more vigorous each year. You may wish to divide your daylilies regularly to ensure that they don't become overcrowded.

How long do orange daylilies bloom?

Daylilies really do bloom for one day each-but each stem holds multiple buds, so the appearance of ongoing blooming is a hallmark of these plants. Though individual flowers open and close each day, daylilies may bloom for four to five weeks at a time.
