Opening Act Amsonia

Opens Early
Introducing an exclusive offering from Michigan Bulb! Our Research and Development team have been working hard to find a unique perennial with everything you could want in a plant—and they've finally found it! Opening Act Amsonia is an early bloomer that opens before any other amsonia cultivar we've found. It produces full clusters of tiny, light blue florets that appear in late spring to early summer. This is a tough, drought-tolerant flower that makes an excellent showing in sunny borders, mixed containers and wooded sites. Very easy to grow and requires little maintenance. Deer-resistant plants can also be used as a flowering ground cover.
