Flower Form: Tuberous blooms on long stems. Showy, hood-like spathe.
Planting Instructions: Temperatures should a minimum of 50 degrees F. Avoid wet leaves when watering. When transporting, place in pot with up-facing sprouts. Should be covered with 1.5'' to 2'' loam-based compost or soil. Water immediately after potted.
Soil Requirements: Moist and well drained, sterile. pH should be 6.5
Winter Care: Bring outdoor pots indoors, or lift and store the tubers in a frost-free environment. Lift in zones 3-7 for fall.
Additional Information: Toxic to cats and dogs. May be affected by aphids, glasshouse red spider mite, or glasshouse whitefly. Fungal rot may be an issue.
