Lucky Lemons Kniphofia

How lucky to find a yellow Kniphofia
A whimsical canary among the usual selection of cardinal-colored Kniphofia! This variety of Kniphofia takes a twist on the plant commonly called "Red Hot Poker." Instead of orange or red flowers, Lucky Lemons Kniphofia blooms in a candy-sweet yellow! This plant starts off with pastel yellow buds that mature to creamy yellow blooms as they open. The progression of color gives this plant a two-tone effect. Kniphofia is a great selection for the middle of a bed or border, with a just-right height and strap-like foliage. These bright yellow flower spikes start blooming in the middle of summer, and continue for several weeks. They're great for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies, too. You'll feel lucky to have this unusual plant in your garden!
