Little Angel Burnet

For the Trendsetters
This is a compact, mounding plant, so it makes a nice, full container display, and even when not in bloom, the variegated foliage is a lovely accent. Perfect right next to the front door. For an extra burst of excitement in mid to late summer, flowes rise up over the foliage. These have an oval cluster of rich-colored flowers right at the top, like the tip of a match. They're unusual, interesting, and visitors are likely to stop and ask about it. Little Angel Burnet is originally from Japan. It's slowly creeping into American hearts and markets—be early to the game! Also, if you feel like your homemade flower arrangments don't have enough substance to make an impact, put a stem or two of this foliage in the back. Its texture is perfect for filling out a bouquet. Want a little more pizzazz in your display? Add in a few of these matchstick blooms.
