Lilac Drumstick Primrose

Adapts to any sun and soil
This primrose sends up a ball of pastel blooms in a shape like an allium or drumstick. The pretty hues will add a soft, delicate beauty to a shaded spot, where it'll grow with ease. But the most amazing thing about Lilac Drumstick Primrose is that it's incredibly adaptable. Sure, it'll thrive in that shaded spot, but it'll tolerate full sun without a fuss, too. The same goes for soil--it thrives in the well-drained soil in a rock garden, but it has no problem with the poor drainage of a water garden, either. It's simply carefree wherever you put it. Each year, this perennial returns with more vigor for an even more impressive show. And for something that adaptable, perennial and resistant to deer and rabbits to also be so beautiful? Lilac Drumstick Primrose must have been plucked straight from a gardener's dreams.
