Jewel of Desert Rosequartz Delosperma

Extraordinary bloom power
The Jewel of Desert series exhibits some of the best traits of delosperma (hardy ice plants), especially for gardeners looking for a colorful floral ground cover. Rosequartz blooms summer through fall with pretty, delicate color. It produces so many, many blooms and reblooms readily too. The foliage is succulent and evergreen, forming a tight mat. This plant stays low growing and makes a good filler in a mixed container. Especially because it's so easy to grow—tough, sturdy and disease resistant. It'll require well drained soil, and is drought tolerant enough to be useful in a rock garden.
