Innocent Flame Double Clematis

Flowers like peonies!
Sweet pink petals twist towards the center, forming a cup-shape reminiscent of peony blooms. They are enchanting rising up above a garden bed on an arch or pergola. The first flush of semi-double blooms will shine in early summer, and then in late summer to early fall, a sprinkling of smaller blossoms will appear. They'll draw attention from your garden guests and passing butterflies, but deer won't bother. Thanks to its lush, lively green foliage, this vine is perfect for topping a fence and creating a privacy screen. Another great hybridizing success by the clematis breeder, Szczepan Marczynski! Clematis 'Innocent Flame'.
