Heavenly Valley German Iris Heavenly Valley German Iris

Heavenly Valley German Iris

For a Light, Airy Look
This iris' name is no mystery, the pristine ruffles and pale tones look like they'd be right at home with harp-playing cherubs and pearly gates. A whole bunch of these blooms en masse will look like a charming, fluffy cloud in your spring border. The blooms then turn more lavender as they mature. Heavenly Valley is also nice to mix in with your other iris varieties, especially dark ones for a more formal, black-tie look. The ever-popular German Iris has that classic elegance that makes a spring garden so strong. An easy-to-plant fall rhizome you can leave to chill overwinter and watch in spring as it burst up with tons of extravagant blooms. Give it well-drained soil and sunshine and you'll enjoy years of low-maintenance beauty and fresh spring bouquets. They can also be divided every few years for a bigger, more impressive display. Rarely bothered by deer.
