Green Twister Coneflower
Vibrant Verdant Flowers!
A lively lemon-green coneflower that bears a unique red-pink halo around its center. As it matures, this reddish pop of color darkens to carmine. The unique hues easily energize mid to late summer borders—especially as there is so much variety, the green sometimes showing more yellow tones, and the halo bigger and smaller on different blooms. You'll love adding this coneflower into your cut-flower arrangements, but be sure to leave some spent blooms in fall. Then, when it gets cold, you'll get to enjoy finches and other winter birds fluttering through your garden to feast on the seeds. Butterflies and beneficial bees are drawn to these gorgeous blooms; deer don't bother. Echinacea purpurea 'Green Twister'
