Desert Flame Jumbo Daylily

Get a hot look with a hardy perennial
Capture the tropical look of a hibiscus in this easy-to-care-for daylily. With bold red-orange petals, bright orange stamen, and yellow throats, Dessert Flame offers a surprising, wide-blooming look, with lightly recurved and ruffled edges. With its tall stature, it's hard not to notice this daylily. An exotic variety that deserves a prized place in your garden, thanks to its bold, artsy look and its reliably easy-to-care-for habit. You can expect consistent reblooming later in summer, several months after its midseason bloom time, along with hardiness, drought resistance, and tolerance for poor soils. Mix with other brightly colored perennials for a red-hot garden.

Is Jumbo the Way to Go?

  • Instant landscape impact
  • Faster plant growth

SAS comparison
Our jumbo bareroot, multi-fan clumps have larger, more established root systems to produce more blooming scapes per plant than standard #1 bareroots.
