Dalmatian Creme Foxglove

Classy Color Combination
Such a stunning color combo for foxglove, cream-white and deep maroon speckles have sort of a formal look. It's really attractive through a woodland or cottage garden, especially because it grows by spreading. The plant forms a rosette of foliage, and then sends up a stalk of flowers. Those reseed, and next year more rosettes will crop up in its place—that's why foxglove is used so successfully in naturalizing. It entices butterflies which makes the scene even more picturesque. It grows very quickly in a lot of different places—lovely dwarf habit for the front border and a sophisticated accent in containers. It's easy, drought tolerant and deer tend not to eat it. Caution: Foxglove is toxic if ingested.
