Crown Imperials Mix

Exotic Looking and Deters Rodents
One of the more unusual-looking, spring-blooming bulbs, Crown Imperials have striking clusters of bell-shaped blooms and tufts of leaves atop 24-36" stalks. They're impressive when planted in groups and create a regal effect in the garden. The flowers are also striking in fresh floral arrangements. This mix may include either red, orange and/or yellow flowers. Unlike most other spring-blooming bulbs, Crown Imperials bulbs and flowers drive away squirrels and rodents. Many gardeners plant Crown Imperials with their other spring-blooming bulbs. Plant the bulbs about 5 inches deep in a sunny to partially shaded area in the fall in very well-drained soil. Deer resistant. Fritillaria imperialis
