  • Foliage Type: Bold-textured, oval-cordate, deep gren leaves, 4-6" long
  • Bloom Time: Blooms in June. Harvest in late summer to fall
  • Flower Form: Small, 5 petaled, held in narrow panicles. Not ornamental.
  • Planting Instructions: Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots without bending them. Set the crown at soil level, firm soil and water thoroughly.
  • Soil Requirements: Well-drained, humus enriched soil.
  • Growth Rate: Fast once established, which takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks.
  • Pruning: Prune in winter for best fruit production. Follow instructions in the planting guide. Winter, when plant is dormant but before the temperatures become too cold.
  • Winter Care: A winter mulch is advantageous in colder climates.
