Carmine Red Kickin® Aster

Vibrant Fall Blooms
Asters bloom once most flowering plants are finished for the year, which is why the brilliant tones of Carmine Red are so useful. Each magenta-red, daisylike bloom is accented by a shining golden center-bold fall hues that rival the bright colors of your summer garden. Carmine Red is part of the new KICKIN® Aster series, a line of improved perennial asters. These varieties require exceptionally little maintenance with no pruning and no deadheading.  They will grow into a dense, compact mound completely washed in colorful blooms. They form an easy, tidy-looking edge for a front border, and are a nice size for patio pots. They are not fussy about soil as long as they are planted in a spot with good air circulation and plenty of sunshine. Attracts butterflies, but not deer.  Aster 'Carmine Red'
