Broadway Lights Shasta Daisy

Long Bloom Time
Everything you'd want in an easy-to grow bloom—drought and disease tolerant, deer resistant and tolerant to acidic, clay, dry, and sandy soil. This daisy prefers full sun, so it'll thrive in those sun-soaked parts of your landscape that would scorch other blooms. This daisy boasts a long bloom time, bringing droves of butterflies to the garden in late spring to midsummer. The flowers open in a brilliant yellow, fade to a sunny pastel, and finally mature to white. As each bloom matures in its own time, it creates a cheerful, summertime, white-and-yellow mosaic. Broadway Lights also makes a nice portable display in a container. Be sure to snip some blooms for either a fragrant cut-flower bouquet in doors, or a dried-flower arrangement. This variety was bred by German hybridizer Manfred Mehring-Lemper. Leucanthemum x superbum 'Supra'
