Blue Fortune Agastache
Butterflies and hummingbirds flock to this hummingbird mint. Its strong, sturdy stems grow high, with bottlebrush flowers that add both vertical and textural interest. A very long-lived perennial for your garden's borders. Provides shelter and protection to birds, and late in the year when food is scarce, it provides birdseed. Easy to grow—it's drought and heat tolerant and thrives in poor, infertile soils. The blooms are fragrant and the foliage, when crushed, smells like black licorice. Makes a pretty indoor cut-flower bouquet and if you want the display to last even longer, use this variety as dried flowers. Deer tend to avoid. Agastache 'Blue Fortune'
