Bewilderbeast German Iris Bewilderbeast German Iris

Bewilderbeast German Iris

Jaw-dropping blooms—and tons of them!
These flowers are unmatched for drama, the wild, colorful streaking on the petals make it look tie-dyed! Its actually a very easy and carefree plant to grow, but you'd never know it by how impressive it looks. It's no surprise that Bewilderbeast won an Honorable Mention in 1997 and an Award of Merit in 1999. It's well branched, so you're sure to get a lot of blooms to show off in iris season. The ever-popular German Iris has that classic elegance that makes a spring garden so strong. An easy-to-plant fall rhizome you can leave to chill overwinter and watch in spring as it burst up with tons of extravagant blooms. Give it well-drained soil and sunshine and you'll enjoy years of low-maintenance beauty and fresh spring bouquets. They can also be divided every few years for a bigger, more impressive display. Rarely bothered by deer.
