Stained Glass— 2006 winner: A smaller hosta with a huge presence. Its brilliant gold hue and prominent veins add impressive color to shaded areas. Large, fragrant, near-white flowers bloom in August. Grows 15" tall with a 32" spread.
Patriot—1997 winner: Stunning combination of dark green centers and crisp, wide, white margins. Exhibits good sun tolerance. Lavender flowers bloom in midsummer. Grows 22" tall with a 50" spread.
Earth Angel—2009 winner: Large heart-shaped, blue-green leaves have a wide, chartreuse border that brightens to creamy white in the summer. In early summer, pale lavender flowers open atop the foliage. Grows 30" tall with a 40" spread.
Guacamole—2002 winner: Combines good sun tolerance, rapid growth and beautiful foliage. Shiny, large, chartreuse leaves are margined by a wide green edge. Large, fragrant, pale lavender flowers open in August. Grows 24" tall with a 54" spread.
Sum and Substance—2004 winner: One of the largest hosta cultivars! Has immense, glossy textured, light green to chartreuse to gold leaves. Lavender flowers bloom above foliage in August. Slug resistant. Grows 31" tall with a 70" spread.
