Asao Clematis Asao Clematis

Asao Clematis

Highly Fragrant with Large Blooms
The broad, beautiful blooms of the Asao Clematis vine make it ideal for container gardening and adding charm to any room in a vase of cut flowers. Each 6-8" flower blooms in a star shape with yellow stamens and rosy pink petals. White central bars lend a pale glow to the center of each petal. Its leaves are bright green, palmate in shape, and since they're arranged alternately and oppositely on the stems, they're great for screening and privacy. In the spring, the leaves turn bronze. Its fragrant scent—unusual for a clematis flower—will draw butterflies from near and far. Deer resistant. It can grow between 5' and 10' tall. Clematis 'Asao'
