Appleblossom Burst Dianthus

Create Spicy Perfumed Bouquets
Appleblossom Burst is spectacular in its multiple shades of pink—which is saying something when most varieties of Dianthus are pink. The flowers are also bigger than the average Dianthus bloom and fuller too, as they're semi to fully double. For a tidy edge to a garden bed or the perfect display in a patio pot, you'll love this variety's perfectly rounded mounding habit. The plant stays compact, with multiple blooms per stem and a long bloom period from early summer to early fall. Then the ornamental dried seed heads keep all eyes on this plant for even longer. It's great for mass planting and be sure to snip some blooms for cut and dried flower arrangements. Easy to care for—deer, drought and salt tolerant—all it needs is at least 6 hours of sunlight. Loved by butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Part of the Pretty Poppers series. Dianthus 'Appleblossom Burst' PPAF
