Absolute Treasure German Iris

Invigorating Color for a Mixed Border
Along with a light fragrance, enjoy the unique tone these pastel blooms set in a mixed border. Their colors are icy and cooling, which is a refreshing deviation from typical brighter hues. Especially dramatic when planted alongside dark colors. Absolute Treasure is an award winner. Most impressively, it won the Wister Medal in 2011— one of the highest awards given to German Iris. The ever-popular German Iris has that classic elegance that makes a spring garden so strong. An easy-to-plant fall rhizome you can leave to chill overwinter and watch in spring as it bursts up with tons of extravagant blooms. Give it well-drained soil and sunshine and you'll enjoy years of low-maintenance beauty and fresh spring bouquets. The rhizomes can also be divided every few years for a larger, more impressive display. Rarely bothered by deer.
