Mons. Jules Eli Peony

An outstanding peony with three seasons of interest
This luxurious peony blooms in a spectacular shade of soft pink with an abundance of fluffy petals. It's deeply perfumed and perfect for cut flowers or vases, or for just letting passers-by enjoy its fragrance in the garden. Even before the blooms begin, Mons. Jules Eli features a beautiful mound of foliage that stands just 2-3' tall. The leaves first appear in spring in a lovely shade of burgundy, then mature to a glossy deep green, then finally turn a soft yellow in fall—providing three seasons of ornamental interest. Though peonies can take three years to show their first bloom, the wait is well worth it, and they'll last for decades to come.
