Flower Form: Medium sized, ruffled formally shaped flowers borne on short stems with close branching.
Planting Instructions: Plant so tops of the rhizomes are exposed and the roots are spread out facing downwards in the soil.
Soil Requirements: Average, well drained.
Growth Rate: Fast.
Pruning: Divide when clumps becomes crowded and bloom diminishes about every 3 to 4 years during the summer. After hard frost in the fall, cut foliage back.
Winter Care: Mulch in colder climates and remove in early spring.

Planting Instructions: Set rhizome so bottom half is below ground level. Firm well and water thoroughly. Plant where they will get at least 5 hours of sun per day.
Soil Requirements: Well drained preferred. Quite tolerant of a wide range of soils.
