Golden Ninebark

An attractive native plant with year-round appeal
A native plant that adds grace to any informal garden, and creates a beautiful privacy screen. Golden Ninebark is known for its attractive foliage, interesting bark, and abundant clusters of creamy-white flowers. The name "ninebark" comes from the exfoliating bark that peels away in multiple layers, revealing different colors underneath, giving the shrub an intriguing texture and visual appeal. In addition, ninebark is quite low-maintenance. This shrub is extremely hardy and adaptable, tolerating a wide range of soil conditions, including clay and sandy soils. It can thrive in both full sun and partial shade, though it tends to have better foliage coloration in full sun. Physocarpus opulifolius 'Luteus'
