Black-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia Fulgida) is a herbaceous perennial with an extravagant golden floral display. Exceptionally eye-catching and easy to grow, Black-Eyed Susan plants attract butterflies and other pollinators and are deer and rabbit resistant. In addition to being very drought tolerant, this Rudbeckia is also highly disease resistant. Black Eyed-Susan does best in full sun or partial shade with moist but well-drained soil. Black Eyed-Susan blooms from mid-summer to early fall in hardiness zones 4 through 9 and will come back year after year in your garden.
