Absolutely Beautiful Review by Mary Ann Sperka - Crown Point, IN

I ordered 2 of these plants, and they are the absolute most beautiful flowers. They look like tiny roses clustered together to make 1 large flower. I plan on ordering more and planting them throughout my garden. Absolutely beautiful.

I bought these last year and absolutely loved them. They were the prettiest color of pale yellow and the scent was to die for. I was so looking forward to this year but committed a big NO NO. I cut the leaves way down at the end of summer and now they are not coming back. Hopefully they will again but, unfortunately not this year. For now, though, I am buying more and not touching them this fall.

The second season is awesome!!! Blooming in March in Alpharetta Georgia even after many 20-30 degree nights. The plants grew big and flowers on every plant. It is a keeper.

Easy to grow and a pleasure to the eyes, daffodils work well in a flower bed or as a border. A hardy perennial, daffodil bulbs grow across most of North America. The Summer Cheer Daffodil has an especially full bloom style with its double flowering. Add in its fragrance and garden lovers can have the feel of spring in the early summer. For the best color in these summer flowering bulbs plant in full sun though the bulb will tolerate partial shade and still offer superb color. Daffodil bulbs need lots of water after planting. The plants grow well in most soils, but loam gives maximum blooming. Use a complete fertilizer with nitrogen to ensure the plants respond well during the growing season. Once the plant finishes flowering feel free to pull off the dead heads, but leave the leaves alone until they dry up. Leaves gather energy and give to the bulb which stores it for the next season of growth. As colder weather approaches cover the Summer Cheer Daffodil beds. The tender shoots the bulb first puts out need protection from any freezes. Summer Cheer Daffodil bulbs multiply in a good growing season so in four or five years time divide the bulbs to keep the flower bed from overcrowding. Easy to care for and easy to maintain bulbs come as one of the garden mainstay. Enjoy!
