I planted this in the ground in late April 2014. Once it got established it grew really nicely. Colors are gorgeous! Both bees and butterflies visited. Can't till it comes back in 2015!

I love this butterfly bush! It bloomed in early spring and got over 7 feet tall. It's October 25th and it's still blooming. I had so many butterflies, hummingbirds and honey bees this year. Simply amazing!

Good So Far Review by Starlene Wooton - Flippin, AR

They came very small. No kidding, really small. But they are really healthy looking. I'm doing them just as they said to. Got one for my daughter as they just bought their first house and I thought it would be great fun for the children to watch it grow, (it's supposed to grow really fast), and see the butterflies that are drawn to it. Hoping we have as good an outcome as those who left the previous reviews.

Beautful Review by joanne - chester, NY

I hesitated buying a butterfly bush with so many people online saying their prolific self-seeding makes them bad for the environment. I decided to get one and see. This variety is doing very well. Lots of flowers. Colors are as promised. I have 1 1/2 acres and see no sign of mountains of butterfly bushes growing around me. I say Bah Humbug to the environmentalists.

Planted this late Spring zone 6 PA and it grew to 3 feet tall and nice and full by fall. Blooms not quite as multi-colored in the picture but that might happen next year.

I received one rainbow butterfly bush in the pre-planned garden I purchased. The first year was slow to grow but the next it grew profusely and bloomed its heart out. Amazing purple orange prettiest blooms I've ever seen. Ohio had a hot dry summer last year and this bush still bloomed beautifully. highly recommend.

Not Happy with Butterfly Bush Review by Debbie Royalty - Toledo, OH
Posted on 2012-04-04 17:07:26

I ordered 5 butterfly bushes and planted them last fall. Only one of them has survived and we had a very mild winter. I am going to order one more and see if planting in the spring makes a difference. I think the pics are beautiful and hope spring planting makes a difference.

I love any plant that can thrive and take abuse (excessive pruning) and very high heat with drought like conditions. This is a great fast growing abuse-loving plant!

mystery blooms solved Review by Regina - Port Richey, FL
Posted on 2012-03-29 18:17:51

I moved to Florida last year in February and noticed this bush in my yard. I saw so many beautiful butterflies which I snapped picture's of. No matter how many time's the property maintenance cleared the bush off, they came right back faster and stronger. they are worth buying and they spread the grounds fast.. And I always wondered what amazing scent that bush created now I know.. Thank You Michigan Bulb for showing that picture; the mystery has been solved in my backyard.....

These bushes are quite hardy. The first year, my dogs were pretty hard on them. But they came right back, and the butterflies and hummingbirds love them.
