25 Great starter plants received Review by Bob-Romeo, Mi. - Romeo, MI
Posted on 2014-04-22 19:43:35

Oh, my what a nice size starter plant with great root system, I am planting the 25 in front on 5' foot center of our 8 - 40' blue sprue to fill in the bottom alittle and protect damage from the lawnmover to reduce the chance of needle cast fungus getting in the sprues. These starter plants are already branching out. These starter plants are a great buy especially when on sale. They are georous when mature. I am starting them in pots to push along faster. Hope to have 3' to 4' plants next year and will post picture if possible.

Great bush Review by Gypsy - Roxboro, NC

This is a fantastic bush. Planted nine years ago and faithfully flowers every spring. The branches drape like an umbrella and the varigated leaves make it attractive thruout the summer. Requires no maintenance and very little pruning. Love it.

Growing fast! Review by MaryEllen - Attleboro, MA
Posted on 2013-04-26 20:58:40

I planted 5 of these late last summer. I then had surgery and was unable to do anything in the fall. With only a carpet of leaves to protect them, these little guys made it through our horrible winter. They are growing fast, with new shoots pushing up and all branches leafing out. I'm happily surprised at their hardiness! ME

Lovely shade plant in hot weather Review by H K - Richardson, TX
Posted on 2013-01-01 00:21:53

I've had this for a four years now. Within 2 years, it grew into a nice 3ft bush. I had originally planted this in partial sun and in TX heat, many of the leaves dried up. I move this to a shadier spot last spring and it grew well. The leaves fall off in winter and I trim it down a little. Comes back in spring and nearly all leaves are variegated. From time to time, I get a few that are not, but they don't affect the appearance much.

Best Advice Review by MMT - Little Rock, AR

My mom gave me the best advice on how to handle this plant when received from Michigan Bulb: Plant it in a pot first! Normally I just smile and nod, but this time I actually took her advice, and it is growing so nicely. Mine is verigated as advertised, and will plant it when have a good spot picked out.

I have this shrub for 4 years, since 2nd year it's been flowering, but now its just AMAZING, looks even better than on the picture, doesn't require any maintenance, i just wish I planted in more open area so all her beauty would be visible. Highly recommend, just give it 1-2 years for full beauty

I've bought quite a few mail order plants that have not made it, but this one, planted in awful soil, grows significantly each year. It is tough and beautiful.

Still waiting Review by Sarah - SIMPSONVILLE, SC

I planted this shrub early last summer. It grew quite a bit but I didn't see any flowers. I am waiting to see what happens this year! I will update this review or write a new one depending on what I see with the plant this spring and summer! Wish me luck!
