Just when the flowers in many borders, cottage gardens and cutting gardens are fading, these beauties emerge to revive them. These tall phlox grow up to 40" and are packed with fragrant blooms. Select from the soft blue petals of Blue Boy, the striking show of lavender eyes among the white petals of Blue Ice and scarlet-red Tenor. Choose the multitudes of purple petals with bright white eyes of Laura, or Peppermint Twist for cheery pink and white blossoms. Be enchanted by the 'perfect' display of salmon-orange from the NEW Orange Perfection. A pleasantly spicy scent completes their charm.

This hardy tall Phlox (Paniculata phlox) mix is just the flower mix to revive a fading garden. Blooming from late summer through the first fall frost, hardy phlox produces abundant clusters of small, brightly colored two-tone flowers. Perennial phlox, a North American native, is hardy in zones 3 - 9. Plant in full sun to partial shade in mid-spring after the chance of frost has passed. Place buds 18 - 24 inches apart and 1 - 2 inches deep, and water thoroughly. Well-suited to container gardening, borders, and as a backdrop for shorter flowers, phlox grow to up to 40 inches tall. Often used as a tall ground cover, perennial phlox grows quickly to blanket the space with its dark green, lance-shaped leaves and pom-pom topped stalks of blossoms.

This hardy tall phlox mix contains a variety of pastel and jewel-toned phlox varieties, including Blue Boy, Laura, Peppermint Twist and Orange Perfection, among others. You'll get a vibrant mix of colors and tones like rose pink, white, scarlet red, purple, salmon orange, and dark-centered two-tone varieties. With their distinctively pleasant spicy fragrance and a frilly-edged profusion of blossoms per stalk, phlox make a wonderful cut flower. Their soft scent will subtly perfume a room and the cheerful colors will brighten any space. Perfect for the cottage garden or late-summer landscaping, phlox attract hummingbirds, honeybees and butterflies with their rich scent and end-of-season splendor.
